The shaggy-dog technique where the finished knit is intentionally brushed to create its distinctive fuzzy, raised surface, it requires gentle care. To preserve the texture and integrity of the knit, avoid forcibly removing the fuzz, as this may cause damage. A light brush or gentle hand-washing is recommended.
